It often all begins with a feeling: “Something is wrong with my body.” You go to the doctor hoping for answers. In many practices, there is not enough time to truly listen and detect patterns. The average consultation time in German medical practices is 7.6 minutes*. Too short for complex conditions.

Frequent diarrhea? Bloating? Do you tolerate many foods poorly or not at all? It could be Mast Cell Activation Syndrome, abbreviated MCAS. According to estimates, up to 17% of the population may be affected.
In Germany, there are approx. 871,000 people with Long COVID and approx. 650,000 people with ME/CFS, together more than 1.5 million affected individuals (Source: ME/CFS Research Foundation, 2025). Despite severe courses of the disease and many affected patients, care is described as “not good to nonexistent” (Prof. Dr. med. Scheibenbogen, 2024).
Only a small number of symptomatic (peri-)menopausal women in Germany receive hormone replacement therapy, although according to clinical guidelines this represents the recommended treatment.
When no one can find the root cause, my work begins.
I help people with persistent exhaustion, unexplained symptoms or chronic illnesses through holistic and functional medicine.
Author of medical books, internationally recognized expert, and publication of scientific studies
Early diagnostics, coordinated therapies, prevention of long-term consequences
Taking symptoms seriously, avoiding psychologization and stigmatization, pacing and symptom-oriented therapies
Bioidentical hormones instead of antidepressants, anti-anxiety medication and sleeping pills
“I can’t tolerate any food anymore.” Careful medical history, comprehensive diagnostics and individualized treatment
The 3,000-year-old science of life. Holistic, gentle and effective in restoring balance
Finding and treating the root causes of a disease – not just the symptoms

Recognizing bio-psycho-social connections through the combination of evidence-based conventional and complementary medical knowledge
In everyday medical practice, holistic care also means respectful interaction with patients for me. This begins with short waiting times and is reflected in making treatment decisions together. Every person brings their own ideas and expectations – taking these seriously is part of my work.
You want to regain quality of life and fitness, become healthy again or maintain your health. You want to live a vibrant and long life.
You have already been to many doctors and therapists. You are looking for clear, structured, personalized and reliable treatment from one single source.
Symptom-oriented treatment no longer helps you. You are looking for the causes of your illness. Holistic. Bio-psycho-social.
Alongside the “superwoman,” you also have a vulnerable side. You are looking for gentle treatment methods, but with competent medical expertise.
I take your concerns seriously. I am a physician specialized in holistic and functional medicine. After many years in conventional medicine, I realized that something was missing:
seeing the whole person.

If you feel that doctors have not taken you seriously and everything has been pushed into the “psychological” category, you are not alone. Every person is different, with their own history, lifestyle and health. I take the time to look closely.

You have already tried many things and fear that everything will only get worse. Body, mind and emotions are closely connected – and that is exactly how I look at your symptoms. I search for the root causes, not just the symptoms. Sometimes like a real detective!

Balancing family, career and health is often a challenge. For me, getting healthy means working together. Small steps in everyday life – nutrition, movement, relaxation – can have a big impact. I support you in finding new paths that suit you.
Sometimes you are not taken seriously when you hardly understand yourself anymore.
But behind every symptom there is a story, not a label.
True healing begins where someone truly listens and looks closely.
